Maggie Strasle, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through complex emotional experiences. She earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), integrating trauma-informed, strengths-based, and relational approaches to help clients move from survival mode to a greater sense of clarity, connection, and self-trust.
Maggie works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, postpartum transitions, relational patterns, and complex trauma. She has a special passion for supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients through identity exploration, life transitions, and learning to take up space and be authentic in doing so. A self-described “recovering people pleaser,” Maggie loves helping clients find their voice, set meaningful boundaries, and unlearn the belief that their needs are too much.
Clients describe Maggie as thoughtful, humorous, and compassionate, with just the right balance of warmth and honesty. She sees therapy as a collaborative process, where clients remain in the driver’s seat of their healing while she helps illuminate patterns, roadblocks, and new possibilities. She values humor as a bridge to connection and believes that real, lasting healing happens in spaces where we feel safe to be our full, imperfect selves.
Maggie is guided by the belief that “healing happens when we can go back to the past without getting stuck there.” She sees EMDR and trauma-informed therapy as powerful tools to help clients integrate their experiences and reclaim their lives with more freedom and choice.
Outside of session, Maggie enjoys beach days, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their miniature schnauzer, Winston. Originally from Massachusetts, she now calls South Jersey home and brings warmth, authenticity, and clinical integrity to every space she holds.
