We are pleased to announce greater access to mental healthcare through Mindful Soul’s Graduate Internship Program, which connects Master’s Level Counseling Students with clients who are seeking therapeutic services in our Haddon Heights, NJ, office beginning in August 2022.
All of our internship students are supervised by a licensed and seasoned professional at Mindful Soul, and receive quality feedback to ensure a high standard of care. Many of these appointments are also available at a reduced session rate, making quality therapy more affordable and accessible to our community.

Meet Our Graduate Interns
Cole Hooley (She/Her)
M.S.E.D. CANDIDATE IN MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA
Over the last decade as a Yoga, Reiki & Mindfulness Instructor in NYC & Philadelphia, Cole Hooley has worked with clients to co-create a deeper connection to their bodies, nature, and the environment. She has a special interest in working with clients who have experienced trauma and incorporates mindfulness and yogic principles into her therapeutic approach. Cole aims to create a more natural and common-sense approach to promoting mental, emotional, and physical health by integrating nature, holistic practices, and research-based strategies.
She is currently an M.S.Ed Candidate in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania, where she serves as a Liaison for the Project for Mental Health and Optimal Development. Post-graduation, Cole aspires to specialize in Eco-Therapy, a modality that utilizes the healing power of nature in therapy, as well as integrating her diverse background in the healing arts into her therapeutic work. Carlee Bellapigna (She/Her)
M.A. CANDIDATE IN COUNSELING AT STOCKTON UNIVERSITY
Carlee is a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Counseling Program at Stockton University. Following her graduate studies, Carlee plans to pursue her dream of working in the mental health field as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). With her warm and sensitive personality, Carlee strives to create therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy, trust, and authenticity. Carlee is most drawn to approaches that emphasize compassion, empower clients, and help them find meaning in their lives. Her approach to therapy is Person-Centered and Humanistic, with an understanding that healing is not a linear process.
In her undergraduate experience, Carlee worked closely with organizations that advocated for and educated diverse populations on eating disorders and disordered eating. She enjoys working with clients who may be experiencing challenges related to depression, anxiety, or self-esteem or body image concerns. She believes that it is important to help clients cultivate empathy and compassion for themselves throughout their process, regardless of where they are on their journey.
In her free time, Carlee enjoys spending quality time with her favorite humans, being in the sunshine, traveling to new places, visiting museums and aquariums, exploring bookstores, and watching Netflix documentaries. Chae Reid (She/Her)
M.A. CANDIDATE IN CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING AT LESLEY UNIVERSITY
Melissa McCourt (She/Her)
M.S.E.D. CANDIDATE IN MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA
Melissa is a candidate for Penn GSE’s Masters in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. She is trained in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and has fifteen years of experience working with children and families in educational and summer camp contexts. As an educator and counselor who is passionate about meaning-making, Melissa specializes in children and believes in the creativity of the human spirit. Melissa loves to incorporate music, play, and other creative expression in her with with children and families. She is sincere, approachable, and silly.
Whether practicing skills for building positive relationships, conflict resolution in school and at home, being with the grief that accompanies big life changes, or learning about what lies beneath expressions of anger, Melissa sees her role as being a witness to her clients’ struggles and triumphs throughout the healing process. Her orientation lies in the space between an existential-humanist and dynamic systems approach to therapy. In the future, Melissa plans to obtain a certification in child and family therapy.
When she is not working, Melissa enjoys mountain biking, party planning, singing spontaneously, and exploring nature.
