Nicole is a Licensed Associate Counselor working under supervision to achieve her professional counseling license. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Monmouth University. Nicole is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and has extensive experience with both teens and adults facing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and PTSD. She is LGBTQIA-affirming and dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals.
Nicole is passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of their identities and relationships, guiding them toward a more fulfilling and authentic life. She excels in working with young adults and teens, individuals exploring or struggling with their sense of self, and those who feel misunderstood. Whether you’re struggling with feelings of being “too much” or “not enough,” or seeking healthier and more fulfilling relationships, Nicole is here to support you.

Nicole is particularly interested in supporting clients with body image and gender expression issues. She specializes in helping those distressed by their body’s appearance, shape, and weight, emphasizing body acceptance, anti-diet culture, and challenging Western beauty standards. Her approach aligns with the principles of Health At Every Size (HAES).

Utilizing DBT and person-centered therapy, Nicole works alongside her clients to increase self-compassion and somatic awareness. She believes in building a healthy therapeutic relationship based on validation, where your experiences and emotions are acknowledged, honored, and respected. Striving for a balance of warmth, positivity, and humor, she provides a space where deeper, more painful emotions can be safely explored.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys staying active with walks, runs, yoga, and Pilates, often accompanied by her favorite podcasts. She loves soaking up the sun at the beach and discovering new outdoor adventures. Nicole values quality moments with her beloved dog, Coco, nurturing her spiritual practices, and creating memories with loved ones.
