Being a parent, whether new or seasoned, can be an incredible, exciting, and extremely stressful time. Navigating the constant demands of responsibilities can be overwhelming and exhausting. Using the Mindful Self-Compassion approach, based on the book and workbook by Dr. Kristen Neff and Dr. Christopher Germer, this group is intended for parents in all stages, whether expecting, new, or experienced.
This group focuses on developing powerful tools for coping with life’s challenges and enhancing emotional well-being. We will explore techniques to increase mindfulness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance—qualities that often prove difficult, especially in parenthood.
