We are currently offering hybrid schedules of both in-person and telehealth sessions in southern New Jersey and seeking clinicians that are available to build and maintain a schedule of 25 client hours per week. Both Haddon Heights and Medford offices have openings at this time.
Our diverse team offers a number of specialties. We are known especially for our work in areas of women’s mental health issues, trauma, adolescent mental health, and more! We welcome Creative and Expressive Art specialities and have space for Art Therapy, Yoga, and Dance Movement Therapy in our spacious Haddon Heights building. Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat a full range of mental health issues in adults, tweens, and teens in a private practice, outpatient setting.
- Demonstrate competency in utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches. A passion for growing in a specific area and/or having some specialty training under your belt is a huge plus!
- Must be LGBTQIA+ affirming, practice through the lens of Anti-Racism, and receptive to training and consultation in these areas.
- Ability to self-reflect, seek out and receive feedback, and have a hungry desire to build on your therapy skills is a must!
- The usual therapist job stuff – clinical documentation, scheduling of clients, participation in staff meetings, supervision/consultation, and other team events.
- Position requires some evening and/or weekend hours. This is not a 1099 position.

Applicant Requirements:
- PhD or Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling
- Active NJ License to practice – LPC/LCSW/LMFT preferred, *LAC/LSW considered with relevant clinical experience
- Minimum of two years POST-GRADUATE clinical experience working with individuals, couples, groups. Acceptable areas of clinical experience include: outpatient mental health settings, group/private practice, inpatient unit, partial hospitalization and IOP programs.
- Relevant work experience in mental health and training in evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Computer savvy, able to use EHR/EMR, good organizational & time management skills.
- Available for afternoon/evening and weekend hours for 25+ clients per week. Schedule may be mixed with daytime hours as well, but evening/weekend availability is required.

Clinical Internship Opportunities at Mindful Soul:
We are currently accepting applications from graduate level counseling students who are interested in an internship placement for the Academic Year (Fall-Spring 2022-2023).
We are also open to candidates who would like to begin their internship/practicum experience for the Summer Semester (May-Aug) who are able to commit to staying with our center through the Academic Year or Fall Semester as well.
Our internship program offers a unique experience to graduate-level counseling students in a private practice setting. We request that candidates be available for a longer-term commitment, a minimum of 6-8 months, to allow appropriate time to build your client caseload, develop therapeutic rapport, and provide supportive counseling services to clients.
In addition to building a caseload and developing your therapeutic skills, our center also offers the following opportunities to our interning students:
