Ben is a licensed therapist providing men’s mental health counseling in Medford, NJ, and online therapy across New Jersey. He works with men, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, ADHD-related challenges, and major life transitions.
Ben is a good fit for:
- Men who feel constantly on edge or burned out, overthink every decision, or notice anxiety showing up as irritability, shutting down, or trouble relaxing—even during downtime.
- Partners navigating relationship or family tension, breakups or divorce, becoming a dad, or major life and career transitions that leave them feeling uncertain about what’s next.
- Teens and adults of all genders who struggle with focus or motivation, procrastinate until the last minute, or feel scattered and disorganized—and who want practical, skills-based support to get unstuck in their daily routines.
Ben focuses much of his work on men’s mental health while also working with teens and adults of all genders who are navigating stress, mood changes, and big life transitions.
Many clients come to Ben feeling burned out, stuck, or unsure of their next steps—even when life looks “fine” from the outside. He often works with men in their 20s to 40s, balancing careers, relationships, and ongoing anxiety or exhaustion. Ben offers a calm, grounded space for people who feel like they have to keep it together for everyone else while quietly running on empty. His approach helps clients find relief, clarity, and confidence in handling life’s constant demands.
What therapy with Ben is like
Ben offers in-person counseling in Medford, NJ, and secure online therapy for adults across New Jersey.
He sees clients as thoughtful, capable individuals who are more resourceful and creative than they feel when anxiety and stress are running the show.
Sessions with Ben are collaborative and down-to-earth. Together, you’ll focus on identifying what matters most and building small, realistic steps to practice between sessions—at work, at home, and in your relationships.
Over time, this process can help you feel more grounded and steady, less ruled by anxiety, avoidance, or procrastination, and more confident in the choices you make.
How Ben Can Help Tackle the Issues in Everyday Situations:
- Develop a stronger sense of self, rather than just reacting to stress or others’ expectations.
- Learn to sit with difficult emotions without shutting down or exploding.
- Gain distance from overwhelming, anxious, or self-critical thoughts.
- Take meaningful, values-driven action toward the lives they want to live.
Whether you meet in person or online, Ben’s goal is to make each session practical, honest, and connected to what matters most in your everyday life.
Ben frequently works with clients navigating:
- Depression
- Grief and loss
- Trauma recovery
- Social anxiety
- Relational or interpersonal challenges
In sessions, Ben uses:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Skills-based strategies from his background as an executive function coach
These approaches help clients understand their thoughts, manage difficult emotions without getting overwhelmed, and take purposeful, values-based action in daily life. Ben’s goal is for clients to use what they learn in real-world situations—not just in the therapy room.
These services are available through men’s mental health counseling in Medford, NJ, as well as flexible online therapy for men and adults throughout New Jersey.
Support for ADHD & Executive Function
In addition to therapy, Ben offers executive function support for clients who want extra help with planning and prioritizing, staying organized, and following through on daily tasks or long-term goals. He especially enjoys helping people build routines that fit their actual lives, so progress feels steady and sustainable rather than like another impossible standard to meet.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” – Carl Rogers
