Alexandra Esposito is a Licensed Associate Counselor with over a decade of experience in the mental health field, including a foundation in music therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Music with a focus in Music Therapy from Immaculata University and her Master of Education from Malone University. Her work across inpatient and outpatient settings with diverse populations has given her a deep appreciation for the many ways people adapt, survive, and protect themselves through life’s challenges. This broad clinical background shapes her compassionate, nuanced, and attuned presence as a therapist.

Alexandra offers a warm, steady, and judgment-free space where clients can slow down and tune into their inner experience. She blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and creative techniques to help clients feel grounded, empowered, and more connected to themselves. Through this work, clients learn to meet themselves with compassion, challenge old patterns, set healthier boundaries, and build emotional resilience.

She works best with teens, young adults, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma (including PTSD and C-PTSD), grief, relational struggles, substance use issues, and major life transitions. Alexandra has extensive experience working across diverse identities and cultural backgrounds and welcomes clients from all lived experiences.

Alexandra is especially drawn to introspective, sensitive, and deeply feeling individuals who are curious about their relational patterns, emotional responses, and internal protective strategies. She is passionate about supporting clients who notice familiar dynamics resurfacing in their relationships and want to understand the deeper “why,” as well as those who feel stuck in “survival mode” and are ready to move toward a more grounded, connected, and empowered way of living.

She understands how protective instincts like withdrawing, bracing, people-pleasing, or shutting down once served an important purpose but may now contribute to feeling disconnected or stuck. Alexandra helps clients recognize the strengths in their sensitivity, depth, and curiosity, using these qualities to build insight, self-trust, and more fulfilling relationships, both with others and within their internal world.

“Where words fail, music speaks.”

Alexandra believes that strong therapeutic work begins with trust, safety, and genuine collaboration. She views the client as the expert of their own life and works alongside them with transparency, respect, and attunement. Her goal is to offer a space where clients feel truly seen, understood, and supported as they explore their emotional landscape and move toward healing.

Clients often describe Alexandra as steady, attuned, and calming. They appreciate her grounded presence, warm when they need support, direct when they need clarity, and always respectful of their pace. Many share that she helps them feel both understood and gently challenged, creating an environment where meaningful insight and lasting change can unfold.

Outside the therapy room, Alexandra enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her friends, family, and her much-loved pup.
