Rebecca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over half a decade of experience in diverse clinical settings. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Marist College and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. As a trauma-informed clinician, Rebecca utilizes EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems and mindfulness in sessions with clients.

Rebecca has a passion for helping adults struggling with substance use, anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and trauma-related struggles. She has a special interest in working with women from late adolescence through adulthood who may be struggling with patterns of codependency in relationships. Rebecca has a keen understanding of how our earliest relationships and experiences impact our adult-selves and supports her clients in gaining a deeper, more compassionate understanding of their journey.

With her clients, Rebecca helps move from insight to action, empowering her clients in shifting unhelpful relationship cycles. She believes in creating a safe and collaborative place for clients to feel seen and begin the healing journey. Rebecca approaches every client with empathy and compassion in order to meet them where they are and empower them to make behavioral changes and heal from past trauma. She enjoys working with women who experience fears of abandonment, rejection, and place high standards upon themselves in order to seek validation.

Rebecca works with her clients to gain an awareness of their emotions, triggers, and needs. She often utilizes mindfulness and breathwork in sessions to support clients in coping with overwhelming emotions. Rebecca believes in a strengths-based approach and often incorporates inner child and attachment-based work. Through inner child (parts) work, Rebecca helps clients connect with those young parts of ourselves who experienced emotional wounding – parts of ourselves that we often tend to reject as well. By integrating those early experiences and meeting ourselves with greater compassion, old cycles are able to change and healing becomes possible.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, and listening to true crime podcasts. She has a love for all things fantasy and enjoys painting, meditating and adding to her collection of crystals and tarot cards.”
