Practicing mindfulness helps us increase our own level of self-awareness, build our capacity for managing our emotions, stress reactions, and behaviors. Mindfulness promotes a sense of being more grounded, calm and focused. These essential coping skills can support teens to better weather the storms of anxiety, depression, difficulty focusing, and navigating interpersonal relationships.
