Julianna is a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for helping others reconnect with themselves in meaningful and affirming ways. Working under supervision as she pursues clinical licensure, Julianna brings both professionalism and heart to her work with clients. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Monmouth University with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Children and Families, and has supported clients in both community mental health and outpatient settings.

At Mindful Soul, Julianna works with tweens, teens, and young adults as they navigate life’s many pressures of perfectionism, comparison, anxiety, self-identity, peer relationships, and transitions. She also supports women and caregivers working to redefine themselves amidst the layered demands of life, and has specialized insight into the unique stressors faced by first responders and their families. Drawing from her own family of service professionals, including nurses, veterans, firefighters, and police officers, Julianna deeply understands how high-pressure work can ripple into relationships, mental health, and day-to-day balance.

Julianna believes that from an early age, we are shaped by roles and expectations that often feel heavy or conflicting—student, partner, child, caregiver, professional. Her work invites clients into a space where they can safely explore those roles, let go of unrealistic standards, and step more fully into authenticity. With a warm, collaborative, and relational approach, Julianna helps clients build self-compassion, resilience, and emotional clarity, always centering the client’s voice in setting goals and moving toward healing.

Julianna blends transparency and curiosity with evidence-based practices from CBT, DBT, ACT, and humanistic approaches. She supports her clients in setting clear, compassionate boundaries and developing personalized strategies for self-care and sustainable growth. Her clinical experience includes supporting clients with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, body image concerns, grief and loss, depression, family conflict, phobias, and caregiver burnout. She is also deeply attuned to the emotional needs of older adults and the nuanced challenges of aging, autonomy, and social isolation.

“Recovery can take place only within the context of relationships; it cannot occur in isolation.”
 — Dr. Judith Herman

Julianna keeps this belief at the heart of her work, honoring the healing that happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported. She invites clients into a relationship where they can show up as they are and gently begin to rewrite the narratives shaped by fear, self-doubt, or past wounds.

In and out of the therapy room, Julianna values connection, creativity, and laughter. She spends her downtime with her spouse and their beloved fur babies—two dogs, CeeCee and Rocky, and their cat, Sylvester. Whether she’s trying a new gluten-free recipe, exploring a podcast, or hosting a game night, Julianna brings intentionality and joy to life’s everyday moments. She is committed to walking beside her clients with compassion and curiosity as they pursue their own journeys of self-discovery and well-being.
