Spring 2024 Groups and Workshops
Conquering Codependency
Codependent relationship patterns can cause emotional suffering and difficulty finding self-confidence in our relationships. These types of challenging dynamics can show up in all kinds of relationships: romantic, coworking, family, and more, creating an unwanted barrier to emotionally healthy connections.
This 6 week therapeutic series focuses on understanding the root causes of codependent tendencies, exploring current relationship patterns & challenges, and finding new ways to build healthy and sustainable relationship habits.
Codependency can leave us feeling emotionally drained by the desire to always be in a role of helping or ‘fixing’ the other person. Additional traits of codependency include:
*Feeling responsible for solving the problems of others
*Difficulty making decisions or trusting yourself
*“Fixing” others or advice-giving that is not warranted
*Valuing others over yourself
*Feeling used or underappreciated
*Taking things personally or feeling like a victim
*Fearing rejection
*Making excuses for others’ behavior
Join Julie Young and Lauren Vaughan in Conquering Codependency, an eight week therapy group, to learn, grow and connect with other women healing from codependent relationship patterns. This group will be held Mondays starting March 4th, 2024, from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM in our Haddon Heights group room.

Gentle Re-parenting: The Co-regulated Family
Many parents struggle to see successful outcomes with positive and gentle parenting strategies. Often, our own nervous systems can get in the way of parenting in the way we most want to, leading to feelings of shame or failure. So often as parents our focus is on our children, and yet the best possible way to help your child with difficult emotions is co-regulation, where both parent and child are able to soothe the nervous system and increase feelings of calm and safety.By working with your own internal experience, parents can develop emotionally regulated ways to engage with their children.
