Kids face a lot of stress today. They juggle busy schedules, the stress to perform well, social pressure, bullying, and don’t forget about electronics and social media! An inability to manage stress positively can result in A LOT of problems including anxiety, trouble sleeping, depression, anger, impulsivity, poor attention, physical complaints (upset stomachs, headaches), and poor self esteem to name a few. Teaching kids how to practice mindfulness is one of the MOST AMAZING LIFE SKILLS we can give them!!
Mindful Soul Center for Wellbeing is passionate about offering mindfulness workshops to help children tune into their inner world and take home tools to start living more mindfully through our monthly drop-in Calm Kids Mindfulness Workshops! Mindfulness can help improve self-awareness, compassion, and focus.
Workshops are co-ed and broken into three age groups for optimal learning and interaction.
Ages 5 to 7
Ages 8 to 13

MORE ABOUT MINDFULNESS
Practicing mindfulness helps us increase our own level of self-awareness, build our capacity for managing our emotions, stress reactions, and behaviors. Mindfulness can easily be practiced as a family. It helps us all be more grounded, calm and focused!

What does the research say?
Research shows that mindfulness actually changes the way the brain responds to stress, helping kids increase self-awareness, be more compassionate, manage their emotions, focus, and even learn better.
