For Women Juggling the Stress and Overwhelm of Life
Are any of these statements true for you?
You have spent your life juggling a lot of responsibilities. You try to multi-task like a bad-ass but somehow it always fall short. Something or someone always needs your attention. There is a pressure to keep up with everything, to keep up with other people, to keep up with your own expectations.
You and your emotions are not getting along. They come out of nowhere, sometimes too intensely. It hurts how you communicate with others and how you treat yourself.
Or maybe you just don’t deal with your emotions. You stuff them down and protect yourself. Yet you still feel this underlying anxiety and stress.
You don’t know how to ask for what you need or say no to people. You feel depleted by this and unfulfilled in your relationships.
You notice yourself being negative most of the time. When good things do happen, you don’t feel like you can actually enjoy them. You can’t find the joy.
Your body is talking to you- you sleep too much or too little, your muscles hurt, your head aches, your stomach is off. There is some kind of indicator that your body is sick from your stress!
It is time to stop and face your stress. It is time to actually do something about it.
The Building Balance Skills Group is a 12 week intensive group experience for women of all ages and walks of life. In addition, a virtual component is included so that group members are able to connect and support each other online throughout the week and have access to guidance and feedback from the facilitator.
Next session begins in January 19, 2017 at 6:30pm. Group is between 60-75 minutes each week. Pre-registration and phone screening required.
